Postdoctoral Researcher, iDiv - German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research

I’m a community ecologist (and a cat lover) intrigued by how biodiversity changes in the Anthropocene affect ecosystems. My research examines the complex relationships between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in grasslands, focusing on how species loss and climate extremes influence these dynamics. To investigate these processes, I combine observational, experimental, and evidence synthesis approaches—with particular enthusiasm for experiments that simulate scenarios of species extinction.
